The above ‭plan, designed to alleviate increasingly critical housing problems for persons living in Southwest Florida, was devised by Stewart Ogilby. Mr. Ogilby is a retired corporate management consultant, author, and financial entrepreneur. Now approaching his mid-90's, he has been a resident of Sarasota, Florida since 1986.

There have been local "Home Share" projects in the past. Unfortunately, due to largely unforeseen internal problems they no longer exist. This plan is designed to circumvent problems within past somewhat similar "home sharing" plans.

The cost of basic housing continues to soar, making living in southwest Florida hugely difficult for everyone, particularly young persons living and working in the area. This plan is designed to provide a valuable partial solution toward alleviating local housing problems.

Southwest Florida has traditionally provided retirement living for persons experiencing normal increasing problems of aging. This plan is designed, in addition, to provide senior home-owning members of "The Senior Friendship Club", particularly those who live alone, conveniences and additional security.
